Building a Database for a Africa-EU Cooperation Programme
From 2014 to 2015, ADALYA worked with the Africa-European Union Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP). RECP, funded by the European Commission and several member states, aims at facilitating access to funding for renewable energy projects in Africa. Through in-depth research and interviews, ADALYA and RECP developed a database covering about 75 available funds relevant to private renewable energy projects, including a detailed overview on the corresponding objectives and investment processes.
The database is intended to help project developers navigate the increasingly complex landscape of sources of funding and support for the successful development of renewable energy projects in Africa. You can access the database here.
